Updating and Adding Information After a Submission
If you realize that information needs updating after submitting a transaction, this guide shows you how to create an updated copy. Since edits aren’t allowed once a transaction is submitted, you'll need to copy the original transaction, which preserves fingerprints and other details.
# Once you submit a transaction, you cannot edit any fields. Make sure all the information matches the Live Scan Request Form. If any field needs to be changed, follow the steps below to create a copy of the transaction and submit the updated one.
1. Click on the Manage Transactions button on the desktop

2. Find the transaction in the list and click once to highlight it. Then click Copy Transaction from the options on the top.
NOTE: The Resubmit button is only used when the governing body rejects the transaction. They will send the Requesting Agency or applicant a rejection letter. If there was no rejection and you click resubmit, the application will not be processed.

3. Choose the same type of transaction (TOT) that you initially used. If you choose a different TOT, the fingerprints will not be copied over.

4. A copy of the transaction will open. A new ATI will generate, so make sure to give this to the applicant. You can now make any changes necessary.
Since this will be processed as a new transaction, you will be charged the DOJ fees again
